- 3 years ago when we started open gym for HS kids on Wednesday nights followed by Youth program practices, we had 11 kids show up for open gym & 4 for Youth. Tonight we had 55 HS kids at open gym & 60 for Youth. 115 kids got better at basketball tonight at Shawnee Mission NW!
- 👉 Mid-season tournament champions (1st time in school history) ✅ 👉 Back to back Sub state champions (1st time SMNW has won back to back in school history) ✅ 👉 18 wins (second all time in school history) ✅ 👉 Heading to Wichita for first time in a decade ✅
- We are beyond excited to go compete for the first boys basketball state championship in school history! Big 63-51 win over Mill Valley. We’ve done it all year as a group and will continue to lean on each other as we play tomorrow at 6:15 for the Kansas Class 6A State Championship

- For the 4th year in a row the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars are sub state champions and headed to Wichita!!! Great atmosphere tonight! Student section brought it and glad we could make them proud. #22-0 #Saturdayseason
