Slips' tournament advice: 1. Stay in the present. The moment you think about past games or future games is a moment you're not focusing on match at stake. 2. Offense wins games. Defense wins championships. 3. When you get nervous, remember your training and rely on fundamentals.

Here's a TTT Evo top 8 match with me vs. Crow back in 2005. Crow may actually be the first back-to-back Evo winner for Tekken and should be a source of pride for US players. Not sure where he's at these days, but he was a force in TTT as well before his T5 dominance.

Here's a few T5:DR highlights from my ft20 set vs. Matador when I visited Osaka, Japan in 2008. Matador was considered one of Japan's best players at the time so it was an honor to play against him. It was an epic battle. I was up 18-16 but he refused to give up and got 4 reverse

Before he was suplexing gods, @Lil_Majin was suplexing mere mortals in the Midwest 😆 Luckily, Eddy shenanigans go a long way lol he would get his revenge on me in our next confrontation. I was 0% surprised learning of this man's success in later Tekken's 🫡

SonicFox taking down Japan's anime God is testament to how good NRS players can be. Most of the time Sonic wins in NRS games, but let it be now known it wasn't the because of the caliber of NRS players, Sonic is just that damn good. NRS players should be proud.

I believe @Lil_Majin first major tournament win was S.L.U.T.S. in STL which was the only tournament I ever hosted. It's surreal seeing him and the community more vibrant than I ever imagined. And awesome to see someone I recognize from back in the day getting his deserved props.
