Bird update kinda, just what's been going on. No news yet. Shit just takes ages. I'm having the court date from may transcribed and then will be getting my ducks perfectly in a row. The lawyer is going to be expensive but I'm also absolutely terrified of messing this up somehow.

Dooooo nooooot pet your bird like this yall. This is like copping a feel or something for them- you’re clearly telling the bird that you are its mate. This leads to all kinds of behavioral issues stemming from frustration. It has real consequences. See my comment for example 👇

I have a consultation with a lawyer on Wednesday and some other stuff to cover. For those just tuning in, all of my birds were stolen out of my home by someone I know as an act of revenge for telling someone she was talking shit behind their back. This person owns a non-profit

To go back where it belonged with strict proper handling and not providing dark spaces or allowing nesting material anywhere near him. Cage pulled up from the wall, tray on the floor instead of part of the cage, etc. it was so gross. I also tried pushing it back in gently

This is Big Chungus. He is about 65 years old and was not cared for well so we have no idea how he’s made it this far. He’s enormous and loves food and small wood blocks. He sleeps like this and at least once a day we go check on him to make sure he’s still breathing.
