And before anyone complains she is sitting on a blanket and the GWR staff and fellow passengers were all delighted to see her.

Grippingly interesting tweet about my latest podcast: 11 likes in 4 days. Photo of my dog on a train: nearly 7000 likes in 5 hours. Next show will be Dogs: The Musical.

Have paid for a few things lately with this thing called cash. So simple. No pin, ID, WiFi signal needed. No nasty bills weeks later. No interest payable. Fraud-proof. Most places accept it. Could catch on.

V.sad to hear Steve Wright has died. lways fun to chat to on air & off. His shows in the 80s were often best Radio 2 thing daily: Mr. Angry, Elvis advice etc. But he was top notch from start to finish in his long career. First heard him on Read & Wright Radio 210 - fab even then.

Saw @HamiltonMusical last night. Had seen it in NYC. Needless to say still fabulous. Could well run until Easter. Re-establishes importance of musical theatre. @Lin_Manuel genius in all departments; lucky London.

    Replying to @pollytoynbee
Thanks Polly. Leave certainly means leave in your book. As I’ve said before I’ll try to shuffle off this mortal coil soon but I hope you’ll understand that I’d like to be around for the Ashes this summer. So please postpone your cull.

Nick Lloyd Webber was a brave, funny, charming and talented young man. Everyone in the Rice family is hugely saddened by the tragedy of his loss - which is our loss.

How come Kirsty gets more tweet response than me? How many musicals has she written?

And now the sad loss of the wonderful Olivia Newton-John. A genuine superstar for half a century. A genuine good person for even longer. RIP
