    It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our friend, colleague, and beloved administrator, Dr. Michael Rogers. Dr. Rogers, the head principal of East Middle School, made a profound impact on students and touched the lives of many! Today we honor his memory.

    It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our friend, colleague, and beloved teacher, Sue Gottsch. Sue has taught in the District for 5 years, most recently as a teacher of health sciences for the Career Academy. Her work has touched the lives of many.

    We'd like to congratulate the North High Boys Cross Country Team for winning the Class 4A Boys Cross Country State Championship. North won the Class 4A Championship with 75 team points. North senior, Jaysen Bouwers, also won the individual State Championship. Well done! #SCCSD

    Congratulations to Max Beller (@SiouxCityNorth) & Reece McDonald (@BlackRaidersEHS) who represented the Midwest in Canada at the International Silver Stick Hockey Tournament where they not only won silver medals, but were also named Championship players of the game! #SCCSD
