- My top takeaway from today’s match is that Sinner and Alcaraz are great role models for kids and adults alike. They play tennis with a calmness, sportsmanship and respect for one another that everyone should have.
- Last five matches Sinner-Djokovic: 5-0 Sinner Alcaraz-Sinner: 5-0 Alcaraz Djokovic-Alcaraz: 4-1 Djokovic
- Notice how Sinner and Alcaraz don’t admonish or mock the lines people when they mess up a call. What a concept. Kindness and empathy.
- Alcaraz and Sinner are each one win away from setting up a repeat of the French Open final The last time the French Open and Wimbledon finals were the same on the ATP side was 2008, Nadal vs. Federer.
- Not even Sinner can hang with Alcaraz when Carlos is at this level. Unplayable.
- How Sinner and Alcaraz look to the rest of the tour right now
- After a tournament of many upsets, one of these players will win Wimbledon: Carlos Alcaraz Jannik Sinner Novak Djokovic
- Rankings of players remaining in Cincinnati 1 2 3 136
- You have to admire how many calls these guys have conceded today. Top two players in the world. We can all learn from this sportsmanship!
- Total points won: Sinner: 193 Alcaraz: 192 Games won: Alcaraz: 30 Sinner: 29
- If I’m Ben Shelton, I’m carefully analyzing the first two sets of that match.
- Sinner and Alcaraz will face off for the third time in a grand slam final in 2025. None of the Big Three rivalries ever saw a matchup in three grand slam finals in the same season.
- Let’s just call this match a tie and give them each a trophy
