- Replying to @ReactiveAshleyFrom past interactions, it was clear from the start that GCs were illiterate when it comes to UK law; it comes as no surprise that the SC judgement left the Equality Act unchanged and that GCs are still lacking the skills to comprehend this.
- New pin! 'On Second Sight', the first part of paranormal fantasy series set in the UK, is available. It's a blend of social commentary, historical fiction, and anthropomorphic satire focused on examining the UK's culture and heritage.
- Replying to @ReactiveAshleyI thought the service provider determined whether a facility was "single-sex", not the whims of a Trans Exclusive Radical Fabricator?
- I write paranormal fantasies that examine the culture of the United Kingdom. Details for the first novel in a proposed series can be found at: bookguild.co.uk/bookshop/book/…
- Replying to @speakoutsisterUnfortunately, GC advocates have already stated that intent. A loss is not an option for them, such us their belligerence. And as you stated elsewhere, a win on the grounds of the sanction being too severe will be misinterpreted as a victory against transgender people.
- I've been reminded that as a child, my mother was informed by the doctors that it would be a miracle if I ever learnt to read and write. Now I am sending a copy of my debut novel to my first teacher. Never underestimate the power of books.
- Replying to @KPGilles and @ReactiveAshleyYou just demonstrated my point. There are 9 protected characteristics, including sex and gender reassignment. A proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim is still required to discrimate so far as relating to someone with gender reassignment.
- Again, it's strange that the criticism from Dreyfuss and Glinner claims all the great gay people sold out. The cognitive dissonance not to realise that great gay people side with Trans people is astounding.
- Replying to @_HenryBoltonThis paltry explanation is an example of a tactic commonly known as backpedaling. It is a sign of insincerity and pomposity.
- Replying to @speakoutsisterSuch people complain because they believe it's a sign of misappropriation and a sign of a wrecked marriage. What does that mean for me, when my spouse is wearing all my hoodies?
- Replying to @uffepaulsen and @ThomasWillett9Oh yes, but the Terf Island narrative is based on "good old" Victorian approaches to society and medical care. It's another case of Anglo-exceptionalism.
- I find it interesting that some GCs are adamant that this is the first debate in human history on the nature and wording of subjects and objects; as if the Reformation never happened, and the numerous councils and heresies preceding and following it. That's just one example!
- Replying to @peterjrainford and @AGallagherAllyFurthermore, it's visibility that is an issue for TERFs. E.M. Forster wrote, on the matter of legalising homosexuality in the 1950s; it wasn't homosexuality that was the issue, it was having to THINK about it that was problematic for politicians.
