I’m old fashioned, but when it gets to the point where a bet is actually struck, that should be the point where discussion is over, if it wins the person gets paid, it’s too late for asking where the money came from, who told you or what you knew. It’s been struck, it’s a bet.
I said goodbye to my Dad yesterday, he was a builder and a kind and gentle man. The Dr told us to come to the hospital on Sunday night, dad fought for every extra day to stay with us, but ultimately it was a race he couldn’t win. Rest in peace Trevor Nott. Dad. 1940 - 2024. 💔
After a few months of uncertainty then a long week which included a small operation and a stay in Bristol’s wonderful St Michaels Neonatal ward, the Notts are delighted to finally be back home with our brand new son Monty James Nott born just after midnight on 22nd October.
