- Not kidding- there’s a large boulder the size of a small CAR in the center of Highway 145 mm 75.5. Deputies on scene directing alternating lanes of traffic. CDOT in route.

- The boulder that fell onto Highway 145 at Silverpick Rd outside Telluride was approximately 4ftx4ftx4ft (64 cubic ft) and weighed about 10,000lbs. No injuries or vehicle damage. Eastbound lane blocked for about 30 mins until a snow plow was able to move the boulder off highway.

- It is your responsibility to know before venturing into the backcountry, whether hiking a trail, or driving on a pass, if the area is open and can be traveled safely. Black Bear Pass is dangerous, and you need experience and the right vehicle to navigate it safely. (2/3)
- Ophir Pass is CLOSED due to a delivery truck that is stuck and completely blocking traffic. Tow services in route. Unknown length of closure, avoid the area.
- A large boulder about the size of a riding mower is blocking one lane of traffic on Hwy 145 mm 87 near Specie Creek, about 9 miles South of the bottom of Norwood hill. Alternating lanes of traffic operating for an estimated hour. CDOT in route. Expect delays.
- It is believed people drove up Black Bear Pass & dug out deep snow to be able to drive the pass. They posted on social media that the pass was unofficially open. Officially, Black Bear Pass is closed. Mitigation needs to be done including clearing rocks that can cause rockslides.
- Decker has been found! Family & friends were up in the Black Bear area this afternoon & told Deputies they heard him barking and howling. Deputies & a SAR team headed up, located the puppy in steep terrain & safely escorted him back to safety. He appears to be uninjured.
