Senator Bridget McKenzie Federal Minister for Emergency Management you are wrong when you say it would have been “unheard of to think” of the #ADF being deployed “20 Years ago” during local disasters. They were there on the first day of the 1974 flood helping my family #SEQFlood

So the Morrison Govt sends out an SOS tender for RATs spending federal $ urgently straight after the PM reckons they are a State responsibility. Pattern: do nothing, ignore problem, shed responsibility, hit by crisis, blame others, big announcement, poor delivery. #COVID19

So @ScottMorrisonMP skipped a Darwin bombing commemoration to shoot a promo video with his CLP candidate. And then lied about it saying he was receiving a briefing on Ukraine. What an insult to those killed in the bombing and to all #veterans #auspol ntnews.com.au/news/northern-…

Now based on the arguments successfully put by the Morrison Govt in #Djokovich in Court, lets see if any action will be taken against some of its own Senators and MPs for peddling #antivaxx nonsense. #COVID

Another day, another contract Peter Dutton needs to explain. This one is worth $82 million... for just 282 days of services... and issued without a competitive tender. Are we simply expected to believe that Dutton doesn’t pay any attention to the contracts his Department signs?
An $82 million contract was handed to a politically connected PNG company to provide services on Manus for just 282 days bit.ly/2Tpp5bx

Let's get this straight: - ABF ordered to stop patrols to save money on fuel - Journo asks Dutton - Dutton says the story is "inaccurate" - But then Dutton "intervenes" a few hours later to resume patrols? Why did @PeterDutton_MP put our borders at risk?

600 jobs lost at #JBS Dinmore!! Scott Morrison refused JBS access to #JobKeeper, preferring its competitors who undercut wages and prices by using labour hire. Shame on you @ScottMorrisonMP for abandoning the #Ipswich region and our workers. #Auspol #QldPol

We just voted to ensure sick and vulnerable people currently on Nauru and Manus Island are able to get the help they need, whilst keeping our stronger border protection arrangements in place. This was never about politics. This was about doing the right, decent and humane thing.

Today I announced @AustralianLabor $519M plan for #veterans and defence personnel in #Townsville with Herbert candidate John Ring. Only Labor has a plan to restore frontline services in DVA. Only Labor can be trusted to look after veterans and their families. #auspol

Why did you say you would accept the NZ offer before the Wentworth by-election @ScottMorrisonMP? Why won’t you take action to end refugees languishing in indefinite detention?

The Morrison Govt strategy seems to be define, distract & dissemble its way out of this #Covid_19 health debacle. Can find $16 billion for election funding rorts but not enough funding for RAT testing. Pathetic by a Govt which can’t seem to understand health & economy are linked.

First $423 million to Paladin, now this... Care to explain @PeterDutton_MP?

Peter Dutton and the out-of-touch Morrison Government have no excuses when it comes to refusing the generous offer from NZ to resettle eligible refugees and children from Manus and Nauru. The embattled Home Affairs Minister needs to immediately do his job and accept NZ’s offer.
NEW Zealand can close refugees’ back door to Australia and clear the roadblock on its offer to resettle 150 boat people living on Nauru, the nation’s foreign affairs minister says. Via @SheradynNews bit.ly/2PyRQg6

Labor is deeply concerned by reports on @abc730 in which whistleblowers who have worked as medical professionals in the regional processing centre on Nauru have spoken out about the provision of healthcare to asylum seeker and refugee children.
