Scheffler stalking Fleetwood is like a segment from the saddest part of a nature documentary.

- Started "The Bear" s3 and had that fear I sometimes get with a new season of a great show, that it will drop off. Took about 90 seconds to remember this one is on an artistic level like no other show I've seen and essentially can't fail. Unreal first ep.
- as a golf writer putting out content for what I always assume is a largely right-leaning audience, I have made a concerted effort in recent years to keep my political thoughts off social media, because A, it will have no impact and B, most people don't follow me for that, but
- I'm sorry, peeing in Rae's Creek at the Masters in full view of people in the grandstand is an act of insanity
- To be fair to Keegan in this Morikawa/English match, when you put out your worst possible statistical combo (132/132), with no experience together and no apparent chemistry, there’s no way to predict a result like this
- This is the first major I've covered where I don't think anyone is going to win
- the line "All my friends are dead!", delivered triumphantly, is still the funniest thing I've ever seen in golf. Video needs to be rewatched every AprilAmazing @garyplayer @TheMasters Par 3 contest still has all that energy and flair at 89 years old!!! "All my friends are dead" What a line. #themasters
00:00 - Pat Perez going out of his way to knock the PGA Tour is incredible to me. Dude has ONE top-ten finish in a major, ONE top-ten in a WGC, has won three times on Tour in 20 years, two of them in the fall, and has made $28 million just from golf. What a ridiculous whiner.
- A golf nut friend of mine found that a college golfer shot a 276 in one round, & teammate shot 150+. When the shock wore off, I wondered if there was a story...and oh man, there was. I pray I did justice to Maycee Kay Aycock and Sarah Marshall, my heroes:
- Last summer, I discovered the series 'Strapped' and was immediately fascinated by the direction of @DJPie and the interplay of @BigRandyNLU and @ngschuNLU. This feature is basically my ode to a show that is everything great about golf
- Roughly 27% of televised golf coverage: Announcer: Oh no. That's a nightmare result. It's going to be impossible from there, Jim. *Player hits it to two feet anyway* Announcer: Exceptional.
- U.S. Ryder Cup team is just going to be a madcap comedy where Scheffler puts on different disguises and runs from match to match hitting as many shots as possible
- I don't expect a lot of sympathy for this, but a hard part of being a golf writer is telling people what you do, and being IMMEDIATELY hit with questions about the Aces. "Do you know the Aces? Have you met the Aces? Can the Aces win again?" Golf is about more than the Aces, folks
