While everyone rushes to back the “picks and shovels” of AI, I want to back founders trying to find “gold” - i.e create products that change how people work and live. Here are key takeaways from my new post on building lasting value in AI-first products bit.ly/3sKmiwS

My experience voting in NYC: 1. No ID required 2. Zohran on the ballot twice in the top row 3. Eric Adams, who dropped out to avoid splitting the vote, still on the ballot 4. Cuomo in the bottom right corner, 2nd row

While you're here, VOTE I lived in SF while it was run by extremists; an incredible city can get bad quickly Check out the 2nd row, bottom right for the best chance to save NYC

You're listing the rules that enable a broken system Of course, you should verify via ID that the physical person matches the registered voter. It's very easy to buy a list of registered voters. The rest is more nuanced, but results in a convoluted ballot

Everyone in the comments: "NYC voting has been corrupt since it was known as New Amsterdam, are you new here?"

A logical system would be you vote for a person + party, so all votes for Zohran #2 would go towards the 2nd party I asked, and of course, if you vote for Zohran #1 or Zohran #2, they're added together for the Democrats

This is very sad. When George Floyd was murdered, I went out to protest. I organized fundraisers and donated personally. When anti-semitic activists co-opt a great cause, it hurts everyone A poster with a terrorist on their way to behead babies is not something to celebrate
The BLM chapter in Chicago just posted this in support of Hamas.

Socialism vs. capitalism from the perspective of your mom having cancer Pure capitalism she can’t afford the treatment Pure socialism the treatment doesn’t exist (it was never invented) Capitalism with a social safety net is the answer that no one seems to be offering

I saw a venture investor the other day. No podcast No twitter No conferences No self-congratulatory lists Just investing in areas they know something about. And working with a small set of companies. Like a psychopath.

Young VCs today say it’s impossible to meet founders offline. Back in my day, I’d walk up to a random person building a tech company and politely ask: ‘May I deploy capital into you?’ 98% yes-rate. Manners matter. So does a fund with dry powder.

The genius marketing of Hamas Gaza operates as an independent state, whose leader has a stated goal to commit genocide against its neighbor Naturally, Israel has a strict border with this neighbor - what people call a "blockade" And, Hamas has branded this blockade
