Anderson Co (my home) is where the circus is going on with the guidance counselor making false reports against parents and trying to get the student to live in her basement. This is the same one that hit the news a year ago with pronoun guidance that by all accounts was illegal.

- We need to remove student and employer ID's and credit cards as Voter ID. The law requires you to verify your address when you vote at your precinct, yet these forms of identification do no have that, so they need to be removed as valid forms of Voter ID. apps.legislature.ky.gov/record/24rs/sb…
- Listening to an interview with this lady about having her trophy stolen. There is so much material here for a speech next week! Going to light it up for SB 83-- veto override coming soon!
- Senator West and I are back to work this session working to expand your vaccine exemption rights. Stay tuned for the SB # to be released.
- Striking a lot of things today. If Federal law enforcement wants to operate in KY, they need respect KY jurisdiction and go through state and local law enforcement. SB 115 would remove default peace officer status for Federal law enforcement agencies. apps.legislature.ky.gov/record/24rs/sb…
- Heading to a committee hearing on maps which my constituents call a "disgrace." I was a digital designer and I know space on a screen, so overnight I checked to see if the goals could be achieved without ridiculous maps. The answer is simple: YES.
- Coming out of the senate chamber yesterday, I missed a step on the marble stairs and broke my ankle. Thanks to many senators, security, staff, and my husband who helped every step (or hop). Heading back now to finish a few constituent bills to meet today’s filing deadline.
- It is a shame to have @KYSecState fearmongering, calling us "bumpkins", and LYING to voters about early voting. People that work or are unavailable have 13 DAYS to vote. That was old law, current law, and will be future law after SB 61. @SenatorSchickel@KYSecState Michael Adams says eliminating early voting would lead to national boycotts and make people view Kentuckians as “backwoods bumpkins” spectrumnews1.com/ky/louisville/…
- Getting sponsors for my Digital Discrimination Bill. This means you do not have to have smart phones, computers, or credit cards, to interact with public services. An example is being turned away from Driver's Licenses offices when trying to pay cash for renewal.
- Replying to @Senate7KyI was glad I was able to carve out my evening to attend the school board meeting after being asked by so many constituents to go. Since I buzz through statutes as a hobby and now professionally, I found a nice little gem to share.
- Replying to @Senate7KyI could count on one hand the people who were holding out in support of the counselor. The other 300+ attendees were looking for some swift action. Thanks to the HUNDREDS who attended and THOUSANDS watching live online.
- SB 80 Passed the Senate today, onward to the House.
- SB 156 is my Micro-Poultry Farm bill. If this became law, local farmers could slaughter their own chickens free of the permit and processing requirements of the big chicken farms. apps.legislature.ky.gov/record/24rs/sb…
