They say nice guys don’t win... I’ve had the pleasure of knowing these two for 35 years. Both are wonderful, principled humans in what is often a horrible business. They are already winners as far as I’m concerned, but I would just love them to have their day on Sunday! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🤞🏻

This week I was told of a ninety-two year old Ivor, who incredibly, is still @CPFC season ticket holder! Sadly, Ivor has been a little poorly of late and I mentioned it to a certain favourite player of his... As you would expect, he didn’t just want to send a card! 🧔🏻🦅🔴🔵

Moving off the line early yesterday, saw @samjohnstone50 denied a great penalty save... For many years I have held the view that the keeper should be allowed to move anywhere in the six yard box from a spot kick. Harder to score? ✅ More realistic? ✅ Easy to administer? ✅

Thanks so much to everybody for your concern. New year’s day morning kicked off in the back of an ambulance after the ‘Covid cough’ became violent and I was struggling to breathe. I’m getting tremendous care and already feeling the benefit. I’m overwhelmed by all the love. ❤️

What an outstanding debut! 🙌🏻 Really proud of you @JoeWhitworth_1 🦅 To have never made a senior appearance anywhere and step in and perform like an elite seasoned professional in a Premier League derby, away from home was special. The future is very bright… ❤️

I just wanted to say a sincere “Thank you” for all of your kind messages. I’ve tested positive, progress is very slow and I feel ropey. I’ve struggled to concentrate to be able to post, so I’m sorry if I worried you. I hope I can rid myself of this ghastly virus very soon.

It was great to see this bloke after the game today. @SellsGKP has been working with him for an incredible twenty years. 🧤 He turned thirty-nine last month and is still at the top of the game. What a goalkeeper you’ve been, you are and continue to be @BenFoster! ❤️

I saw some pretty terrible things last night… The first pitch invasion saw @cpfc players abused, filmed and threatened, with five minutes to play. If players are subjected to racist or homophobic abuse they are righty supported if they leave choose to leave the field. 1/2
