- We have just ended an emergency session, Mr. Ransom has authorization from the Council to send letters to all four County DOH and Executives asking their approval to play all sports in Section IX. With approvals, we are ready.
- Stay patient, AD's are meeting over the next 2 days, Executive Directors are meeting today. We will have more answers and guidance in the coming days. We are working hard to get things going as safely as possible!
- As we close the hectic winter season from 2021, we want to send a HUGE thank you to our Athletic Directors, coaches, and staff that worked tirelessly to get as many games in as possible. Fall 2 practices start Monday. Have a great weekend!

- Section IX is very saddened to hear of the passing of former teacher, coach, and athletic director, Gary Vyskocil. Gary worked hard for all of the student-athletes he touched in his many years of service to our Section. God speed, Gary, you will be greatly missed.
- Good luck to all the student-athletes that are beginning Fall 2 sports this afternoon. It's been a long time coming, but it's here. Stay safe, stay strong.

- This morning the @SectionIXSports Section IX Athletics Council passed a motion for return to play games and scrimmages no earlier than May 1st, 2020. This can change to a later date depending on the evolving crisis. We hope everyone is staying safe during this difficult time.
