Yeah, #MadameWeb is somehow worse than you feared. One of the worst movies ever made, in any genre. Story makes absolutely no sense. The "action" is boring, with barely any cape stuff. Dakota Johnson looks as bored as you'll feel. It makes MORBIUS look like THE DARK KNIGHT.
Ok friends. #SpiderManFarFromHome is jaw dropping. First half is a lot of fun, coasting on the good vibes of the HOMECOMING cast. But that second half is EXTRAORDINARY, delivering the BEST Spidey action ever. Most SHOCKING ending in a Spider-Man movie ever. Fans will flip out!
OK. #SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse lives one step above Masterpiece. It's an actual work of art. Every frame deserves to be hung in a museum. The jokes and nods to Spidey lore are perfect. It's OUTSTANDING. The best #SpiderMan movie. Might be my favorite movie ever. Cherish it.
JJ Abrams’ STAR TREK franchise should have 8 movies in its franchise by now. A confounding fumble by a studio that could use more bankable series. What really went wrong?
I loved #Superman. Gave me the biggest, goofiest, stupidest, full-faced grin as I revelled in everything @JamesGunn staged. Perfect cast & world building. It's unapologetically comic booky, which won't work for some. But as far as DC Comics movies go, it's a blistering delight.
So, #Scream6 starts gory and stays gory (the kills — and there are a LOT of them — are all brutal). There’s a tension and grime that comes with the NY setting, and the “core four” make the series their own. Still plenty of legacy, without having to rely on nostalgia. Bloody good!
Nostalgic. HILARIOUS. With tons of heart and two outstanding performances by Ezra Miller. I honestly can’t believe #TheFlash actually exists. It’s magical. It presses every button. I’ll see it 1,000 times.
I was a little nervous about #FantasticFour. These characters mean a lot to me. But this movie is a magnificent and awe-inspiring introduction to a new MCU corner (that feels lived in). The cast soars. Galactus is EPIC. Moms are the most powerful beings in this or any universe.
Please point me in the direction of those who enjoyed the #BookofBobaFett finale. Because that shit was WILD, jam packed with STAR WARS action, and a hell of a lot of fun.
