    Quick story: When Nick Cafardo died suddenly last week, a group of reporters, still shell-shocked, were speaking quietly in Red Sox clubhouse the next day. Blake Swihart stuck his head into the group asked: "You guys doing OK?'' Our turn now -- thoughts and prayer to his family.

    Bobby Dalbec hit a ball in BP that cleared the fence and struck this boy in the stomach. EMTs arrived to attend to him, then brought him over to meet Dalbec, who gave him a signed ball.
