- I’m v saddened to hear of the passing of Philip. Before, during & after the Rule 42 debate & the opening of @CrokePark to #rugby & #soccer , I worked closely with him . He had many outstanding qualities but 2 that were vital at that time - knowledge & trustworthiness ! He was aWe are deeply saddened by the passing of our former Chief Executive Philip Browne.
