    Thanks Bella - curiosity and they have shown me how to dive to make them relaxed and at ease. I am very lucky and they are very gentle creatures if you respect them. They enjoy play. I rarely dive with the same seals.

    FILMED YESTERDAY I'd never met this seal before This is not a pet or tame This is a wild, young, male grey seal possibly 3-4 years old I didn't find him, he found me & initiated the interaction at @NTFarneIslands Thanks @farnesdiving @mickycraig999 @FreeScubaUK

    I am filming with the camera pole in my left hand... Not so easy in the winter North Sea, when your #DiveBuddy has dislodged your mask & her whiskers are tickling your face. P.S. Don't try this at home!

    Very rarely same seal. They have however, over the last 20yrs shown me how to dive with them in a way that they feel at ease. Emphasis always to avoid any disturbance. Encounters always 100% on their terms! I am very lucky to have such gentle #divebuddies

    Sometimes my #DiveBuddies can be a bit "clingy"... I'd never met this #DiveBuddy before... Something to lighten the mood away from dark #winter nights, #politics & pressures It's a calmer world down there sometimes...
