JJ Redick is a Duke guy, a CAA guy and someone with a personal grudge against David Griffin. For him to light Zion up as a bad teammate and not invested in the franchise or his career, is the most damning condemnation I can think of, short of a current teammate doing it.

Sean Payton would have to be arrested and pulled out the building like Stone Cold Steve Austin before he apologized for scoring on the Atlanta Falcons. Sad times.

Heard from a few people today in New Orleans who made me immensely proud to call this place home: A surgeon who operated for 15 consecutive hours. A CRNA and a nurse who drove in on their days off. A cop who ran toward the sounds of blasts. These are silent heroes among us.

My children won't believe me when I tell them what it used to be like every week in the Superdome. Look what they took from us.

Great moments in parenting when my 5 year old asked what they’re chanting. Uhhhhhh. “Scratch that Tiger’s itch, rich!” And now he’s doing the “heyyyyyy ohhhh” stomping around the living room. Thanks, @PatMcAfeeShow 🤣

The Dennis Allen era ended the moment he apologized to the Falcons. The players didn’t have enough respect to go with the play he called and he didn’t have enough common sense to roll with the result. That was it. He should’ve been fired the next day. But this is an awful org

Man, whichever college had Alvin Kamara and Marquez Callaway in the past decade must’ve been so much fun to watch.

Damn it Gayle, let Drew Brees run the Saints and get these clowns out of there.
"There's one thing with southern hospitality. There's another thing with New Orleans hospitality." Drew Brees tells @PatMcAfeeShow why winning a Super Bowl in New Orleans was so special ❤️

Gayle Benson and her executive team are operating the two worst franchises in the two most valuable leagues in America. What will it take for her to realize the rot starts at the top and make some real, meaningful changes at the top of the organization?

This is Jrue Orleans. Holy lord.

Spencer Rattler may go 0-50 by the time his tenure as Saints quarterback is done, but I genuinely like him. He’s (very) far from perfect but he’s working his ass off in a tough situation.

Worst eight days in New Orleans sports history?

Jrue Holiday wasn’t an All Star in New Orleans. He made just two playoff appearances in 7 seasons. Yet he leaves as probably the most popular player in team history. It speaks a lot to what fans really care about and respect.

Blame Saints fans all you want for this 49ers takeover of the Superdome, but the real responsibility lies at the feet of Saints CEO Dennis Lauscha who has run off countless season ticket families and put seats in brokers’ hands. All to marginally increase revenues. Pathetic.
