- ScopeLift repostedThe @tallyxyz brand is iconic. As the new stewards of the platform, we are left with big shoes to fill. While I'm sad to say goodbye to such a legendary brand, I gotta say, I'm pretty excited about what we're cooking up. Coming Soon™
- This is the right framing: to succeed in the long run, DAOs will have to aim to become something beyond nation states and companies.Ok, Ethereum will become the world’s settlement layer. Price discovery for assets like fiat currencies (FOREX), gold, and equities will take place here. New powerful entities (aka DAOs) will exist, where people organize with each other beyond the main entities that exist today:
- Nifty party by @Pizza_DAO in Philly. Kudos to @RothmanSandy for making it happen! What did we see? Prediction markets remain hot + $HYPE is top of mind. The local BTC community is alive and well (ETH too ofc). And @standwithcrypto's new college chapter program is working nicelyHappy ₿TC 🍕 Day with the Coffee & Code Philadelphia crew! 🍕
- ScopeLift repostedThe newly proposed $ZK Token Fee Flow System by @ScopeLift is something you need to know, especially as a $ZK Holder. If you still haven't fully understood what the auction mechanism brings for the @zksync ecosystem, especially the $ZK token, watch our video here.👇
00:00 - ScopeLift repostedAs has been reported, Umbra was used to move funds associated with recent, high profile hacks. In total, we are aware of 349 ETH (~$800K) of stolen funds moving through the protocol. Reports of much higher amounts are inaccurate. A few notes: First, as a stealth address system,
- Replying to @ScopeLiftAnd, of course, we're also making plans to improve the platform in the near future as well! Keep it locked here for exciting updates, or follow along at the ScopeLift blog. More soon!
- Replying to @ScopeLiftMore importantly, in the coming weeks we'll continue to find opportunities for efficiency and sustainability. This will certainly involve further deprecations of unused projects, networks, etc. We remain committed to transparent communication on those changes as we make them.
- Replying to @ScopeLiftIt should be noted that several of these networks are targets for cross chain proposal execution. Support for this use case remains in place for applicable DAOs.
- Replying to @ScopeLiftAnd, if you're wondering, the specific networks being deprecated are: Animechain, Corn, Flow Mainnet, HyperEVM, Monad Mainnet, Nova, Plasma Mainnet, Polygon zkEVM, Scroll, Soneium, Swell, Vana Mainnet, Viction, and Zircuit.
- Replying to @ScopeLiftAll these networks required resources to support. Deprecating them is a practical step to make the platform more sustainable. When demand for any network increases, we will be eager to add support again. If you're connected with any of these, don't hesitate to get in contact.
- Replying to @ScopeLiftContinuing to improve Tally's platform for the long term is key. For that, we are deprecating support for 14 networks that had no DAOs nor governance activity from the start. We are also deprecating support for many minimally used testnets.
- Last week we announced we are taking over operation of Tally's governance platform. That transition is underway and going well! Kudos to the Tally team for making it so smooth. We committed to transparency around changes to the platform, so here's a brief update👇
