Dear Twin Cities TV stations, in the interest of consistent weather messaging, can we please use the same colors when displaying risks? Follow SPC guidelines. Moderate risk is red. Not orange. Not pink. People see orange and think the risk has decreased & confusion ensues. #mnwx
This. I don't understand the mentality of wanting the highest risks over where you live. Weather isn't a video game and shouldn't be treated as such. It's all fun and games until you're looking for a place to sleep because your home was damaged by storms. #mnwx#wiwx

Re: Monday. I do think there will be an early tornado threat when cells are discrete, but the window will be short lived as storms go linear pretty quickly with the amount of forcing in place. That’s how I’m reading tomorrow. #mnwx#wiwx
I know HRRR isn’t the end all model, but the 18z run shows a favorable tornado environment across central MN tomorrow night. Monitoring trend for 00z. Perhaps EF2+ tornadoes. Will be curious to see if SPC ups tornado probs with the morning outlook update if trends continue #mnwx
