    Twenty years ago tonight, I was sitting on the back patio of my home in Las Vegas. I had two alcoholic drinks and then went to bed. As of now, those two drinks were the last I have had. If I don't drink tonight, I will celebrate 20 years sober tomorrow.

    Approximately 33% of the traffic fatalities in Iowa are alcohol-related. 0% of total deaths in Iowa are related to proxy betting. Guess which activity they plan to have the more significant penalty: driving while impaired or proxy betting. You guessed it – proxy betting.

    Billy Walters, 78, is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and has published a best-selling book on betting, is speaking now to help improve the sports betting scene. It is funny how that seems to annoy some folks. Maybe some of you should drop the condescension and listen.

    I stayed at Circa the week of Bet Bash III and the Sports Gambling Hall of Fame events. I would spot Derek Stevens about the casino every day I was there. That is very old-school and a management style that is now lacking in our industry. @BetBash @Spanky @DerekJStevens

    The Wynn has been traumatized by the loss of its founder, subjected to regulatory hell, and suffered the lost revenues from Macau. The team's stock options all have to be underwater. Still, they stood up to the task in Nevada and led the state in doing the right thing. Respect
