- The bottom line is assault rifles are legally sold in our country. This is a uniquely American phenomenon. Day after day we see mass shootings. Enough is enough. We must ban assault rifles.
- I will do everything in my power to get military-style assault weapons off our streets and out of our communities. I will work to restrict access to large-capacity magazines that allow a shooter to fire 80 rounds in less than a minute.
