- How convenient that we already have a lab happy hour scheduled for today - the day I found out about my promotion & TENURE!
- Things I didn't expect when I agreed to write a book: having a baby, going on the job market, breaking my arm (+ thrice weekly PT for a year), an interstate move for the new job, and no daycare due to the pandemic. But now I'm DONE (1.5 years late)! 300 pages on neuroticism!
- Was my R01 application discussed? Yes!!!!!!! Was the score any good? Absolutely not! But I'm claiming victory because 1) this is best an R01 app of mine has done and 2) I feel like a margarita tonight

- We (@DBsamuel_phd and I) put together an @ABCTNOW symposium on clinical applications of dimensional models of psychopathology. It was rejected. Our talks were pretty badass, so here's a thread on the data we would have shared (reach out to us directly if you want to learn more).
- Cory Booker is the arguably the nicest person I've ever met in my life. That is not hyperbole. The man just doesn't stop being exceedingly kind to those around him.
- I’ll be reviewing grad applications for clinical psych students interested in developing, testing, and disseminating treatments targeting the personality-based mechanisms that transdiagnostically (and ideographically) maintain psychopathology!
- 👍 Officially certified to provide therapy in 38 States! Even though my practice is small, I sought #psypact certification so that I could offer @UnifiedProtocol, @BpdCompass, or just plain #cbtworks to more people!
- Any students frustrated by the fact that your mentor has to have ample federal support for YOU to be competitive for an NRSA? Did you know that @ABCTNOW has a grant that supports unfunded theses or dissertations, and students from unfunded labs are MORE competitive?
