    Today's Maricopa County meeting ended abruptly. Supervisor Clint Hickman was saying an Iowa man was sentenced to prison time for sending him death threats. He said it was driven by voting conspiracies. The crowd started laughing and jeering, and Chairman Jack Sellers adjourned.

    I asked the Maricopa County Recorder's Office yesterday how many ballots were in the signature verification process. They said all signatures were expected to go through the process by the end of the day, giving voters two days to cure ballots. Will keep an eye on this lawsuit.
    Petersen says he will intervene in a lawsuit filed by the ACLU and the Campaign Legal Center this morning, which asks the Arizona Supreme Court to consider extending the five-day ballot cure deadline.
