SCSO Deputies and FOP Lodge #3 bought 2 new car seats for a family involved in crash. Hearing that the car seats were damaged and learning that the victim's husband was deployed, deputies said they just wanted to help a family during a stressful situation. ♥️

Sheriff Jeff Davis presented Civilian Recognition Awards to Preston Caniglia and Roxana Francke. In June, Preston saw a 3 y.o. at the bottom of a pool. He jumped in and pulled the boy from the water. Francke performed CPR. The boy was hospitalized, but made a full recovery.

Deputy Roark had a special assignment today to wish William in Gretna a "Happy Birthday". William turns 4 this week and he wants to be a Police Officer when he grows up. Even now, he pretend writes tickets to "bad guys". Happy Birthday, Junior Deputy William!
