    Genuinely getting radicalized by all this. Never much cared about Israel/Palestine discourse—but the pro-Palestine side is doing their best to convince me otherwise. How easy is it to simply condemn targeted violence against civilians? Can there be a lower bar?

    Remember when they say Gaza is an "open air prison"--they mean Israel has restrictions for Gazans crossing *into Israel*. Israel places no restrictions on Gaza's southern border with Egypt--but Egypt frequently does.

    “But what about all the ____?” It doesn’t matter, you evil fucks. Breaking into civilian homes, kidnapping them, killing them, parading their dead bodies around is *pure evil*—it cannot be justified. The civilians are innocent, no matter what Israel is guilty of.

    The Joe Rogan podcast is successful because the host is humble, open-minded, and good-natured. The tone and approach is so refreshing - a balm against the seething, self-righteous smugness prevalent almost everywhere else.
