- Thank you all for your nice words about my Dad. The response has been overwhelming. ♥️⛵️♥️
- Today is my Dad’s 77th birthday. Once Dad said to me “I’m a very selfish person so I’m generous to counteract that” It reminds me that even when I feel greedy and small, I can still make a positive impact.
- Today is my Dad’s birthday. If it occurs to you to do something in his memory perhaps you could do a small kindness for a stranger. A larger tip for your barista. Hold the door for someone. Let someone into traffic. Give a loony to a panhandler. ♥️
- Today I am 193 days alcohol free. It’s not a particularly round or appealing number, but it is one day after I bought booze and decided not to drink it, so I’m celebrating. I’d love to celebrate any wins you have, too!
- So, SE 12 of TPB is out on Netflix. I’m glad you like it so much. It’s tough for us to watch. Thanks for all your kind words, and as my sis @ZoeDunsworth said- as well as raising a glass, (our dad didn’t drink) try to do a kindness in Dad’s name to honour him. Thank you ♥️♥️
- Today is my Dad's birthday! If you have it in you to do a little kindness for someone today in his name please do - let someone into traffic, buy someone a coffee, give a rough sleeper a five dollar bill. Dad was kind to everyone- let's pass it on ❤️
- I miss my Dad so much, every second of every day. There's not many people that I know who are faced with memes and gifs of the person they miss the most in the world as often as I am. Sometimes it makes me smile but it also always hurts.
- Real fans of TPB know that the show is LGBT inclusive. If you use TPB as an excuse for spewing hateful garbage you are fired as a fan.
- Trailer Park Boys the animated season comes out tomorrow... I’m excited to see it and hope that you are too! I’m going to ask fans to be sensitive to what you @ me in. I know how much you love Lahey. But John Dunsworth is and always will be my Dad. So be tactful ok? Love you xo
- Grief isn’t always beautiful. Sometimes it’s wild and angry and hollow and desperate. It can make you mean, prickly. Callous. It can wipe your brain. Sometimes there is no right thing to say to a grieving person. Sometimes the best thing you can do for them is forgive them.
- My Dad : a thespian, a poet, an artist, a rock enthusiast, an amazing loving husband to my mom, a wonderfully exciting Dad. He could beat anyone at scrabble. He loved life and new experiences. He was unique. He was my Dad. I miss him like I hope you can’t imagine. He was my Dad.
