    Period poverty affects an estimated 500 million people WORLDWIDE. Period poverty is a bigger problem on the African continent, so many people cannot afford sanitary items and are forced to use cloths and rags. For some women, the cost of menstruation is missing out on life.

    Re-usable pads are sustainable and last up to 4 years and our goal as always is to reduce/eliminate period poverty and shame for the Nigerian girl/woman. We are thankful to @AVONHMO for their support in empowering and getting #SanitaryAidForNigerianGirls

    SANG visited two schools in Jos yesterday. First we visited Government secondary school, Bukuru, Jos and reached a 100 girls. Re-useable pads were distributed and the girls were taught how to use and clean them as awell as general period hygiene.
