Fawad Andarabi, a local artist, was dragged out of his home yesterday and killed by the Taliban in Kishnabad village of Andarab. He was a famous folk singer in the valley. His son has confirmed the incident.

We lost Ali Reza Ahmadi, a talented journalist and a humble human being, yesterday to the heinous attack on Kabul Airport. He worked on many investigative reports at @Paykreports. Can’t believe he is no more with us. Afghanistan is losing it’s best children. Pain, anger, grieve!
Pule-Hisar district of Andarab is freed from the Taliban by local resistance forces earlier this afternoon. There are heavy fights in Bano and Dehsalah, two other districts of the valley, as well. Andarab, bordering Panjshir and Khinjan is strategically located in the northeast.
Sources from the National Resistance Front tell me that drones are attacking resistance’s targets in Panjshir. Helicopters have been seen as well.
Whose drones are these? Any connections with ISI chief visit to Kabul?
Taliban have decided to segregate university students of based on their gender. They have also decided only female teachers or old men could teach female students. There aren’t enough female teachers.
Thinking of my students at Kabul Uni who will be deprived of education rights.
Let’s be clear:
People are being slaughtered in their homes and villages by terrorists (Taliban+ISI), emboldened by the intnl-community, and the entire world is just watching in silence. This day will be remembered.
Today and new epic and new history begins.
Here is a message from Mohamad Rahed, our fourth year student at Policy and Public Administration School: Smile in the face of hardships.
He lost his life in today's terrorist attack on #KabulUniversitym.youtube.com/watch?feature=…
I am devastated. I am destroyed. Visited Ali Abad Hospital. Some of our best students are gone forever. Some others including one of our professors are in critical condition. Such beautiful souls. We have always failed to protect our best ones.
No wonder why Taliban are so afraid of women. They are leading the civil uprisings in different cities. Herat, Mazar, Kabul, and now Ghor. More power to women!
