Let’s be clear: The Māori are not oppressed in modern New Zealand. In fact, they were protesting a bill that would give equal rights to all New Zealanders and remove their special status and preferential rights. So… they’re fighting 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 equality.

Stop calling them Asian grooming gangs. They aren’t Filipino, Japanese, or Thai. They are 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺. It is gangs of Pakistani-Muslim men who groom, rape, exploit, and murder little girls. Call them what they are.

Yes. Yes, it is. I went on GBNews to discuss Pakistani grooming gangs in Telford. The next day, officers banged on my door, demanding I speak to them about my interview. They ignored victims for decades, but tried to intimidate me for exposing their failings on live TV.

I remember being asked by a detective whether I had “consented” to sexual activity at any point. I was five years old when my abuse started. Not a “young woman”. Not a “child prostitute”. Not “promiscuous”. I was a child. So no, I didn’t consent. No child can.

I feel like many people still don’t quite understand the level of depravity inflicted on those little girls — or just how young they were. Think of your sister, daughter, or granddaughter as a child. Picture them. Think of how young and vulnerable they were. Lucy Lowe was 14.
