Also, while you’re here 😅 Just gonna shamelessly drop the link to my first book in the hope you might check it out and help out a newbie writer trying to find their feet

HOWLING at this present from husband. I had no idea what they got up to on walks but apparently every cat sighting from the past year has been catalogued in this book 😂
I know lockdown is tough for many people but, as someone who’s been housebound for 15 years, suddenly life is quite a bit more accessible.
I can attend writing workshops, order afternoon tea and tonight I watched musicals on IPlayer and I cried with happiness.
When my dad was really poorly, I sent my mum a little pocket penguin.
A year later, I'm receiving daily photos of penguin on Mum's first solo trip abroad.
Can't believe what I woke up to for my birthday.
We'd booked tickets to a sunflower field months ago in the vain hope I might be well enough to go but of course I wasn't.
So husband made me my own one in our garden 🥺 Happy tears
Two months ago, I was told I might have cancer. An aggressive cancer with a low survival rate. Two weeks ago I had surgery to remove several tumours (the largest weighing a kilo 😳).
Today I got the results from my biopsy. It was clear.
The utter relief.
The ABSOLUTE IRONY that I have worked hard for a decade writing and trying to sell my books. Husband throws some photos of dog versus cats into a book, goes viral and everyone wants to buy a copy 😂
*sobs into cup of tea*
Didn't expect to go viral yesterday but so pleased my post brought some cheer.
By popular demand, here are more pics from Jasper's Great Cat Watch.
(No cats were harmed in the making of this book. Silent standoffs only. Though one bopped him on the nose. Cats 1 - Jasper 0)
