We are moving away from Twitter/X.

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Bob Silcock.
Many of you will know of Bob as one of the founding members of the Merseyside AIDS Helpline, one of the organisations that formed Sahir House. 1/3

Please take a pic & share, thank you
Paul O'Grady - inspiring, radical, funny, witty, kind & compassionate. Just a few words to describe a very special person.
We will miss him so very dearly 💔 Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul’s family, friends and loyal fans at this sad time.
It is with great sadness & with heavy hearts we are sharing the news of the death of activist, advocate, campaigner and dearest friend to so many of us here, Imogen Christie sahir.org.uk/imogen-christi…

Today is #IDAHOBIT2022 OUR BODIES OUR LIVES OUR RIGHTS A theme that reminds us that many across the world live LGBTQI-phobias in their very flesh every day & that bodies are being abused, ruining lives. Our bodies are our lives. And have a right to live free & in dignity!
@THEVIVIENNEUK is one of our strongest and loudest supporters. We are so grateful to have their unwavering backing. This backing empowers our charity to provide practical and emotional support to LGBTQIA+ folk and people living with HIV across Merseyside.
Yet again our community is targeted by people with hate in their hearts.
More collaborative action is needed to combat far right extremism.
*And* more funding is needed to help us to support more LGBTQIA+ people seeking asylum in the region
