'You can't prove that close pass. Your camera needs to be calibrated/the wide angle lens distorts distances.' Yes, we can. The video shows the cyclist is 1m out from the kerb. Add 0.3m from the centrally mounted camera to the elbow of the cyclist to give 1.3m... 1/3

Ever wondered what inspires people to buy and set up a camera and spend hours reporting bad drivers? Last year a motorist close passed us as we rode though Ilkley. Minutes later he ran over my front wheel while I was trying to explain that it was legal to ride two abreast... 1/4

Driver behaviour around cyclists is slowly improving. Great careful pass by this BMW driver. As vulnerable road users, we really appreciate this. Thank you!

Some excellent professional driving by this @Dalesdairies lorry driver. Hats off to you, Sir (or Ma'am)! Cyclists really appreciate this kind of behaviour. If a lorry driver can give space and pass safely, then so can car drivers.

Selfish motorists who clog up the roads often in huge SUVs with no passengers and then blame cyclists for holding up their journeys. Did I mention the air and noise pollution?

An open plea to farmers: if you would like cyclists to be considerate and pull over to let you past, please return the respect and pass carefully. You don't have greater rights to country lanes and the Highway Code applies to all road users. #Wetherby #Harrogate

I'd cycled for over 12 years and accepted the bad driving as something you just had to put up with. This incident changed my mind. I'd had enough and decided to take action. I used the insurance money to fix the bike and what was left paid for a camera. 3/4
