- So, on August 14th Cisco announces that they’re going to be doing layoffs, but people won’t be notified until September 16th. I truly feel for the Cisco folks that are being forced to live with that anxiety…for over a month. This is not the way to do layoffs. Unacceptable.
- Replying to @pearlythingzThis is one of the worst takes I’ve seen in a while. I know many single moms who work their asses off to provide for their kids - and in most cases the father is absent and/or does the absolute bare minimum.
- Replying to @ZoAndBeholdRepublicans are doing a great job lately making democratic reps famous. I admire Rep. Zephyr, we need more politicians like her who represent people and not corporate donors or churches.

- I have used VMware in my homelab for over a decade - in a few months time I’ll be losing all of my employee licenses, so I figure it’s a good time to move on. I’ve never used Proxmox before so it should be fun to learn.

- I’m shutting down the last ESXi node in my homelab tonight and it’s hitting me in the feels. I’ve used VMware virtualization for a majority of my career and it’s been a staple in my homelab - this will be my first time without it.
