I’m sorry if people were mean or annoying because you had the effrontery to enjoy something. Honestly, Doctor Who fans are not like that. Go to a convention, you’ll find them kind and funny and welcoming. The nutters are only on here: tweeting is the nearest they get to leaving
I completely LOVED this. Chaotic but clear, silly but moving, and above all, kind. A ridiculous romp with the most chilling death in a Superman movie. Only thing I missed was seeing THIS Lois find out THIS Clarke's secret (do the prequel!!) HE SAVED A SQUIRREL! That's the stuff!
I mean how on Earth could they get ME?? It's almost inconceivable. But, you know, not very. I so enjoyed this. Haven't seen it back, but it felt like one of the best Who interviews I've done. Arthur and Karen are not a day older (yes, I know I am) and the loveliest people.
Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are doing a a podcast called Pondcast where they reminisce about Doctor Who. No word on when it will become available but they’ve already recorded a few and have had Steven Moffat as a guest.
Yay for Team Capaldi. Peter and I are thrilled. Peter says he smiled but I don't believe him. In gratitude, we're making a new series with our action figures. We're in talks with Rachel T but she's too expensive after Star Beast. Sadly, Brian M has been poached by my wife.
I'll be tweeting along with this on Saturday from 7pm. I will explain the plot (which totally makes sense), all the jokes (which ARE funny actually), and why I'm so clever and handsome. Be there or, you know, don't be - it's a free country #ThoughtsAndPrayers
Oh, sad news. We've lost Simon Fisher Becker, the wonderful Dorium Maldovar from The Pandorica Opens, A Good Man Goes To War, and The Wedding Of River Song. Simon was gentle and funny and a comedy delight, on screen and off. He first played Dorium in the pre-titles of Pandorica.
