8 year Cancer journey comes to an end today! My scan came back healthy and clean and the chance of it coming back is low to non existent! I thank God for sparing me and allowing me to continue to impact lives thru coaching! By far my biggest accomplishment in life! #CancerFree

As a minority coach I had to pinch myself! Coaching D1 🏈 doesn't present itself to all coaches let alone a Mexican 🇲🇽🇺🇸💯I want to thank my Parents for immigrating here in order for me to live out my calling and impact lives! Shout out to all minorities breaking barriers💪🏽✊🏽

8 yrs ago I coached what I thought was my last game! I could barely walk let alone coach! I hate cancer but I’m thankful for the changes it made in me as a man. 7-15% chance of living 6 days straight 24 hour chemo for 4 cycles! Hard times don’t last but people with faith do! 🙏🏽

Do you love ball?6 years ago I was fighting for my life battling cancer for a 2nd time! 6 straight days of 24 hour chemo for 5 cycles and found a way to call plays on Saturdays! 6 years later down 2 organs and a hip and my love for the game is stronger than ever! God is great!🙏🏽

6 yrs ago I started chemo for my 2nd battle w/ Cancer. Dr. said I had 7-15 % chance of living.I’m smiling in this pic but deep down I was scared. 2020 has been trying but remember that we should be thankful for the lessons we have learned as it exposes character & builds strength

In our personal and professional lives, we are constantly hit with one adversity after the other, most of which we have no control over. But the four things we have total control over is how we react, how we adapt, how we breathe, and how we take action. #GoLeft👈🏽 #GoZips🦘

A breakup. A job loss. The worst season of your life. You don't wish these things upon yourself. But their value could be worth more than a hundred other seasons of things going well. Life experience is the best teacher so embrace the struggles as they become your strengths! 🗣🙏🏽
