Broken into two sections, it explains the role of gravitational wave observatories (an unusual type of telescope), and our current understanding of the gravitational wave spectrum. Gravitational waves allow us to get an unobscured view of the universe, depending on the instrument used, right back to very first moments of the universe.

    A badly photoshopped version of NASA's original photo, with a pumpkin superimposed over the top of it. It's giving eerie, haunted and eldritch horror, despite the gentle smile of the sun still shining through. Truly the stuff of nightmares, but in a cute way.
