    Friday night after a tough loss I noticed 1 player still on the sideline. QB1, KJ Alexander, was picking up trash & making sure the bench area was clean. Not only is this freshman stepping into playing on Friday nights, but he’s leading the right way! #FaceOfSportsmanship

    Many positive thoughts & support being sent out to two of our own. Within the last 24 hours one student-athlete & one coach both had their fathers pass away (unrelated). Out of respect for those families they'll remain anonymous. Send them as much positivity as you can.

    Senior, Hugo Huerta, lost his father during this past football season. Hugo honored his father continually throughout the school year on the gridiron and baseball field. He made sure dad was present for graduation! We love you Hugo! We know how proud your dad is of you!

    We are saddened to learn that one of our beloved Archers has passed away. Officer Robert Nathan served our city, was SRO for South Side HS, and became one of the pillars our Athletic Boosters. Our thoughts are with his family as they mourn.
