- Admittedly I watched A DIFFERENT MAN after Stan’s win (but was always curious throughout the year), but this scene should’ve been Pearson’s clip to carry him the whole awards season, immensely powerful performance.I really liked this film, and I thought Sebastian Stan did great work in it, but man, it does not sit well with me that he’s getting all the award recognition, while Adam Pearson isn’t even being invited, never mind nominated. Unsurprising, but still disappointing!
