    This is a crazy stat. 50 players competing at the College Softball World Series played high school ball in California. Next closest is Texas with 16 and AZ with 13. Here is every player and where they went to high school from the 8 teams who made it

    Over 1k softball teams are headed,or will be headed, to Colorado for a week-long tournament.Many family vacations center around summer sporting events. Here are a few numbers provided by @TCSFastpitch . Love this event 150+hotel properties 50k+ hotel room nights 15,000 athletes

    Fun fact: California represents over 19% of all D1 collegiate softball players (where they played high school). It's crazy to me that a school like USC has no softball team. It sits in the mecca of softball talent. I get that they say there's no space, but still wild.
