There are around 300k H1-B holders who have been in the United States for 10+ yrs with approved #immigrant petitions, & several contributions to economy & society. But, no pathway to citizenship. Only 150-years wait.
- US High Skilled immigration is so broken that Indian citizens who started their applications between 2005-2010 are still waiting. - This morning the amendments to be filed by our champion @senorrinhatch will be removal of per country cap in EB category, Adustment of Status for those with approved I-140 and few others. Looking forward to the text as it becomes available.
- Such a shame that @SenRickScott would propose absolutely outlandish amendment to derail passage of #S386. Carve out based on language in EB is as insane as country caps to begin with. We wholeheartedly commend @SenatorDurbin in reaching agreement with @SenMikeLee on #S386
