- After his 15th year coaching at RHS, and his 40th year coaching in total, Kim Nelson is closing the door on high school football. He will now be working with the University of Sioux Falls football program, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. Thank you for everything, coach!

- Kim Nelson, two-time NFHS National Football Coach of the Year finalist, will be inducted into the DSU Athletics Hall of Fame. He earned the title of the winningest coach in South Dakota history by amassing a record of 314-154. CONGRATS COACH NELSON! 🤝
