- I recruit guys that I want to go to war with. Toughness is first on my list.
- A point guard has to be a leader. You have to come in every day like it’s the greatest day you've ever had. Nobody can know you’re down. You need to be even-keeled and consistent. And you have to distribute the ball and guard the best player on the other team. Not easy to do.
- I have a lot of respect for players that are trying to do things the right way and working to be successful. Stick with it. Don’t get discouraged because good things are coming your way.
- I appreciate my dad because he always told me the truth. He was realistic about what I was and he held me accountable for how I played. If I stunk, he told me. If I did good, he told me. He didn’t care how many points I scored. Did I play hard, did I play smart, did we win…
- Great day. I talked to some really good people. I love the connections I am able to make through basketball. The class of 2023 is absolutely loaded. #GoBearcats
- College basketball is different. Guards have to be efficient with the dribble and learn how to navigate in tight spaces. Make the simple, winning play. I watch some of these workout clips and it’s not the game. It’s not preparing you for the next level.
- Why did the Pirates fire the bullpen coach? Did he not know how to properly answer the phone to get them to warm up?
- Rule #1 - Be on time because it shows you care.
