    Wow, that is one big fish! Jerron Haider caught this monster on Oahe near Pollock! It was weighed in at the Pollock Bait Shop and was 30.08 lbs and 47 inches long! Definitely one to remember #SDintheField

    Yesterday, March 11, a new State Record Burbot was caught out of Lake Oahe! Josh Bible of Pierre caught this 12 pound 7 ounce Burbot while ice fishing. The fish was 33 3/4 inches long and had a girth of 16 1/4 inches. Congratulations Josh!

    Deer ID reminder: White-tailed deer and Mule deer are present in SD. Reindeer are only sighted on this night every year. A large man dressed in a red coat and the sound of sleigh bells are commonly reported with these sightings as well. Be on the look out!
