    Since my retirement statement I’ve been truly humbled by all the messages and calls and pictures I’ve received. The memories and stories they’ve bought back have only made me smile. In the coming weeks I’ll look back and be tremendously proud of my career and my achievements.

    So the person who is an “advisor” to the owners has appointed a person who hasn’t been in management for 8 years but his son plays for the club? Yeah ok that makes sense 🤦🏼‍♂️. This is a circus and a shambles right now and the good people and fans deserve so much better.

    So he’s said sorry but the result stands. What if Everton got relegated by 1 point? How many people lose their jobs on the decision that was made? but he will Ref again next week. If VAR is going to be part of the future they have to get these decisions right.

    When I say the last month or so has been the hardest of my life personally and to continue putting in a shift for the club/lads/management/fans has been hard but something I’m paid to do. To score today was such a relief as I’m sure you could see. Thank you is all I can say. X
