- Photo showing I-95 I-95 is closed from Exit 181 (SC 38) to Exit 190 (SC 34) due to flooding. The continued impacts of Hurricane Florence have caused flooding throughout Dillon county. There is not a passable detour at this time. Motorists should avoid this area.
- ✅ I-20 Reopened in Aiken County ✅ SCDOT is proud to report that both directions of I-20 are now OPEN to traffic at mile marker 13 in Aiken County!
- Good news! I-77 bridge rehab near Columbia is complete. NB and SB lanes are open. Dedicated crews worked around the clock to finish this accelerated project on time, leaving behind a smooth, sound driving surface. #ProgressIsOurPriority
- AVOID THE AREA: I-26 near Ridgeland Following additional significant rainfall overnight, I-26 in both directions near MM 189 east of Cypress Campground overpass is currently flooded. Law enforcement is actively working to move traffic out of the roadway. (1/2)

00:00 - Happening Now: Employees with SCDOT and Troopers with the SCHP are preparing to reverse lanes on I-26. Gov. Henry McMaster has ordered mandatory evacuation for coastal counties. Evacuations will begin today at noon.
- 🚧 UPDATE: I-20 Bridge Aiken County 🚧 The bridge is a total loss after today’s tanker crash & fire. Demolition is underway & crews will work overnight to clear the site. Repaving & guardrail work will follow to reopen I-20 as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more updates.

- Traffic is moving in both directions on U. S. 501 Bypass in Conway today, Sauturday, Sept. 22, 2018, after crews have completed building the flood barrier wall. The Waccamaw River has risen 13.2 feet this morning. The barrier wall has been built to a level of 20 feet.
- USC Athletics Director Ray Tanner, Gamecock Women’s Basketball Head Coach Dawn Staley and South Carolina Secretary of Transportation Christy Hall unveiled one of the new highway signs recognizing the Gamecocks’ 2022 National Championship during a ceremony today. @GamecockWBB
