The Captain and a young kid who idolized him. #DerekJeterHOF

How can you not LOVE this team!?!??! #Yankees

Replacing The Captain seemed like an impossible task. For a player to come in & produce on the field & display the likability that @DidiG18 did at that position in the immediate aftermath of #2 was almost unfathomable. Didi will forever be remembered fondly by Yanks Universe.

Aaron Judge as AL MVP is about as obvious a choice as I can remember.

Wow. This is a pretty incredible breakdown confirming what’s in The Athletic story in regard to Farquhar experience with Astros sign stealing.

Now the Yankees need Didi to hit a 3-Run HR

I’m sorry...has no one in the history of baseball ever come back from a 7-run deficit???? This could be the single most ridiculous criticism I have ever seen when it comes to “unwritten rules” in baseball. @tatis_jr don’t change a thing!!! You are the Star this game needs!
Fernando Tatis Jr. smacked a grand slam on a 3-0 count with a big lead, leading to criticism from both managers. What do you think about this unwritten rule in baseball? 🎥 @MLB #PadresTwitter

The Yankees haven’t had their best player for almost a month. They haven’t had their All-Star catcher for essentially 2 months. Their star SS & all-world closer are now on the DL. They are 32 games over .500 and on pace for 100+ wins. They’re having an outstanding season.

If you can miss as much time as Ohtani did and win ROY then shouldn’t Sanchez have won in 2016?

CC just literally gave his arm trying to come through for his team.
