- As of today, the Seattle Kraken can start signing players and making trades. They are a real NHL team.
- Had to see it for myself. The Gaudreau tribute on the Saddledome steps continues to grow.
- Essentially #Flames GM Brad Treliving turned one remaining possible year of Matthew Tkachuk into nine years of Huberdeau, nine years of Weegar, six controllable years of Schwindt, and the cap space to sign Nadem Kadri in free agency.
- The NHL is playing before zero fans and is literally three days ahead of their pre-ordained schedule for the playoffs. They can definitely afford to take a night off to put attention on the Jacob Blake shooting.
- Our man (Twitterless) Rick Ball doesn't have a playoff assignment for the second round, but let's all express our appreciation for what a superb job he does on #Flames broadcasts. An absolute pro and, as @ryanlesliemedia revealed, one heck of a musical performer, too.
- For those of you keeping track... All-time playoff wins at Rogers Place: -Calgary Flames, 5 -Edmonton Oilers, 5 2020 is weird.
